My work explores the philosophy of homes as bodies. It examines how the lived experiences and physicality of domestic spaces reflect and shape our identities and emotional landscapes. I engage in labor intensive printmaking techniques such as lithography, intaglio, and repetitive screenprinting for large-scale prints. Drawing from personal memory and upbringing, I examine the tension between the idealized home and the mundane–the rather uncomfortable reality of domestic spaces. These methods serve not only as tools for imagery, but act as a meditative process for making work and simultaneously processing emotions. Material control is central to my practice, whether I am dyeing fabric, staining paper, or making it from scratch. This tangible intimacy allows for me to find a deeper connection with the work. Every aspect becomes a way of reclaiming memory, grounding it in physical form, and honoring the labor of remembering.
